New Service Levels

Hollowpoint has made some adjustments to our server to benefit all of our clients. Included in the changes are:

New webmail system (to login, go to webmail.yourdomain.com.au , where yourdomain.com.au is your domain name hosted by Hollowpoint, and login with your full email address and password). Through the new webmail system, you can set your spam preferences, autoresponders, redirects, send and receive messages, and much more. It is recommended that you login and click on Options in order to set your preferences, including time zone settings. Our new system even includes a calendar for appointments, ideal when you are travelling overseas and want access to your emails and schedules.

New SMTP (Outgoing Mail Server) - for the first time, Hollowpoint will be allowing our server to be used to send outgoing mail. You will need to authenticate in order to use this system. SMTP will be allowed from 1st July. We will post the setup instructions on our website in the next few days. Outgoing mail will be unrestricted in size of message, and depending on the hosting account you have with us, the number of emails you can send may also be unrestricted.

New Spam filtering technology - this new technology will begin on 1st July and will eliminate as much spam as is humanly possible whilst still allowing genuine messages to go through. You can also set your spam preferences in webmail (see above)

Over the coming weeks we will be making major improvements to boost your website's performance. News of these changes will be posted on our website, so please check every few days.

New Contact Number - our new contact number will be 1 300 ROI PRO (or 1 300 764 776). Our existing numbers will always still work. This new system will direct your call to the relevant department (Sales, Existing customers, Accounts/Support, and our special Adwords offer). All contact details will be posted on our website. All existing customers can press '2' and will be directed to Justin's mobile. There are no additional costs for this redirection.

New Database Developer - We welcome Adam as our new database developer for ASP.Net applications. We are also currently in the process of employing a PHP Developer (specialising in OSCommerce applications) and will post updates on our site and notify our OSCommerce clients via email.

New Adwords Professional - Hollowpoint is pleased to welcome a new addition to our Adwords knowledge-base in the form of Mandy Smith, who will be able to answer complex Adwords performance questions via email. Her flawless passing of the Adwords exam was much anticipated by Hollowpoint.
