and Email Hosting. Most of the time, these go hand in
hand, but occassionally clients require only one or
the other.
Website
Hosting is where your website lives
Your physical website (files that make your website
work) lives on a server. This server must be accessible
to the outside world, it must be safe and secure,
and you need a server that has enough 'bandwidth'
to support multiple visits to your site.
Email
Hosting is where your emails live
Like Website Hosting, your emails have to come from
somewhere (the sender) and have to arrive at a destination
and sit in a folder so that you can access them via
an email program (such as Outlook or Outlook Express)
or Webmail, and download them as required.
